This weekend, residents of Lime House swapped the city for a stunning hike up the Spinc in Glendalough, led by Strive Fitness — one of the most spectacular trails in the Wicklow Mountains.

Just an hour south of Dublin 4, the route climbs steeply from the valley floor before opening onto the Spinc’s famous timber boardwalk, which traces the ridge high above the Upper Lake. The reward for the climb is hard to beat: sweeping, elevated views down across the water and out over the glacial valley below. Add in ancient woodland, fresh mountain air, and great company, and it made for an unforgettable day on the trail. It was a brilliant day of movement, nature, and connection — and a reminder that life at Glass Bottle reaches well beyond the front door.
